Luna leads the day
One tap in the morning, then Luna carries your kid through the whole day. Afterwards you see how it really went.
What it is
With Luna leading, your kid taps Start class once and goes from Morning Meeting to Closing Circle without coming back to a menu: each block hands off to the next, the brain breaks run themselves (and move on if nobody taps), and the day ends with Closing Circle. With it off, your kid picks each block in order from Today, like before. Either way, the day keeps an honest attention record: about once a minute while a block is open, the iPad notes whether the app was on screen and your kid was tapping or typing (working), on screen but still (still), or in the background (away). After two still minutes Luna checks in once: "Still with me?" Nothing else is watched: no camera, no screenshots, no reading what they type.
Why it helps your kid
Between blocks is where attention leaks. A real teacher doesn't send kids to the hallway between subjects. And a parent who wasn't in the room deserves to know not just what got done, but whether their kid was actually there for it.
Where to find it
Kids β your kid β Who leads the day (By age, On, Off). By age, Luna leads under 14 and teens run their own day. The report: Today on your phone shows each kid's Today's report once a block is done (focus, answers right on the first try, drifting moments); Kids β your kid β See this day shows it block by block. When school ends you get a push with the focus share; if a day never reached Closing Circle, you get the report the next morning.
How to do it
- Try On for a week and look at the report each evening.
- A drift is two minutes or more with nothing happening in a block. One or two are normal; the same block every day is a conversation.
- Focused means 80% or more of the time working; mostly focused 60% or more. Real work has pauses to think, so don't chase 100%.
- The attention record only exists while a block is open: nothing is recorded on Home, in free choice or in chat.
What your kid sees
A Start class button, then one block after another with the brain breaks in between, and Luna's gentle check-in if they've gone quiet. They never see a report about their attention.
