Extra practice sites

Outside sites you approve, like Khan Academy and education.com. Kids say what they did; you confirm and it counts as school.

What it is

Your list starts empty. Add suggestions (Khan Academy, education.com, Code.org, Chrome Music Lab, NASA Space Place and more) or your own https address, for everyone or one kid. Kids see only what's on your list. After using a site they tap I did it with the minutes and what they did. You confirm or decline at night; confirmed minutes go on that day's attendance. Turning a site off hides it from kids and keeps its history.

Why it helps your kid

Good free practice exists; this keeps it on your terms and on the record.

Where to find it

Family → Library & extra practice. Today shows how many are waiting for you.

How to do it

  1. Add the sites you trust.
  2. Confirm or decline each mark; each one is decided once.
  3. Turn off a site when you're done with it.

What your kid sees

Extra practice: only your approved sites, an Open button and I did it.
