Projects

Your kid's own idea, made step by step across weeks, with Luna as planner, not boss.

What it is

A kid starts a project by telling Luna what they want to make, or from an idea in their Invention Journal. Luna drafts four to seven steps spread over one to six weeks, each one sitting long, each with what to show when it's done; your kid sees the plan and says Let's do it. They mark a step done with a sentence or a drawing, and 20 minutes goes on that day's record under the matching subject. A project finishes only when every step is done, with their own words about what they're proud of. You can stop a project from your kid's page; you can't finish one for them.

Why it helps your kid

Long projects teach planning, sticking with it, and fixing things when they break. That's the real skill.

Where to find it

Kids: More to explore → My projects. You: your kid's page (Rest of the day), and Showcase night.

How to do it

  1. Let them pick the idea, even a strange one.
  2. Help with anything sharp, hot, high or online; the steps say so.
  3. Ask to see each step; the drawing or sentence is their proof.

What your kid sees

My projects: the plan by week, the step to do now, and a trophy when it's finished.
